They needed a heavy duty machine to meet their needs, and Summit delivered with our HBM-110. In December, Axis received their brand new Horizontal Boring Mill, weighing in at 26,400 pounds. They needed it on their shop floor by the end of the year, and Summit made it happen. Axis was even able to install the machine themselves, enabling them to get it up and running in record time.

The HBM 110 incorporates many advanced construction features, utilizing the latest technologies to ensure high performance and to meet the ever increasing demand for greater productivity. The Summit HBM contains more standard features than many comparable models on the market, including state of the art electrics with PLC control, and a 3 or 4 axis electronic DRO. Summit HBMs are versatile, durable, heavy-duty, and user friendly machine tools that will provide you years of profitable trouble free operation.
